Prof. Xiangmo Zhao

Prof. Xiangmo Zhao, President of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Professor and Doctor of Philosophy of Chang’an University, Deputy to the 14th National   People's Congress, and Vice Chairman of Shaanxi Provincial Association for   Science and Technology. He is the chairman of the International Telematics and Intelligent Vehicle Testing Technology Innovation Alliance, the vice   president of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, the chairman of the Smart Mobility Committee of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering, the chairman of the 6th and 7th State Council Transportation Engineering Discipline Review Committee, and the chairman of the 6th and 7th State Council Transportation Engineering Discipline Review Committee. He is the deputy director of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering,   chairman of the Smart Mobility Committee of the Chinese Society of Automotive   Engineering, member of the 6th and 7th Discipline Review Group of the State Council on Transportation Engineering, leader of the innovative team of the   Ministry of Education's ‘Yangtze River Scholars and Innovative Teams Development Programme’.

Prof. Qinxi Dong

Qinxi Dong is a Foreign Academician of the Japan Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers. He currently serves as a Second-Class Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Hainan University. Since   establishing his research team in 2021, he has led over 20 national and   provincial/ministerial research projects, with total approved funding exceeding RMB 27 million, including 10 National Natural Science Foundation/national-level projects, 1 major provincial project, and 6 key provincial   R&D programs. Since the team's inception, it has published over 45 SCI/EI journal papers (including 33 Q1 papers), and has been granted 5 international   patents, 16 invention patents, and 3 utility model patents. Hainan University has granted the team ownership rights of 1 technology achievement and negotiation rights of 1 technology achievement, actively promoting the commercialization and implementation of various scientific and technological outcomes.

Dr. Bin Ran

Dr. Bin Ran is the Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor and    Director of ITS Program at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Dr.  Ran is an expert in ITS and   Connected Autonomous Mobility (CCM). Dr. Ran is the author of two leading textbooks on transportation planning and operations, and six books on intelligent highways; the author of over 850 scientific articles. He is the recipient of Wilbur S. Smith  Distinguished Transportation Educator Award from ITE in 2018. He has  more than 200   patents or patents pending in the US, China, Japan, Europe, and other   countries. Dr. Ran serves as the Chair for Committee on Connected Autonomous Mobility, International Road Federation (IRF),  which serves as the forum of global collaboration for more than 180 countries. He leads a Task Force of Transportation Research Board   (TRB)  to develop system architecture and development roadmaps for    vehicle-highway automation in the US. He serves as the Chairman of the Faculty Committee, the major   technical committee for World Transport Convention (WTC), which has more than 30,000 participants from over 160 countries annually.

Dr. Sze Chun Wong

Professor S.C. Wong is Chair Professor of Department of Civil Engineering and Associate Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and was conferred the Francis S Y Bong Professorship   in Engineering, at the University of Hong Kong. He received his BSc(Eng) and MPhil degrees from the University of Hong Kong and a PhD in Transport Studies   from University College London. Professor Wong has published more than 410 papers in refereed journals, in addition to numerous conference papers and presentations. His journal articles have attracted more than 14,000 citations, garnering him an h-index of 63 according to the ISI Web of   Science. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Sustainable Transportation and Transportmetrica A: Transport Science.

Dr. Hai Yang

Professor Hai Yang is currently a Chair Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and is an   internationally renowned and leading scholar in the field   of transportation research. His work has   been extensively published in top-tier academic journals such as Transportation Research, Transportation Science,  Operations Research, and PNAS, placing his academic influence among the   global forefront in the transportation field. Professor Yang has received numerous prestigious awards, including the HKUST School of   Engineering   Distinguished Research Excellence Award (2025), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 2021 Francis C. Turner Award, the 2020 Frank M. Masters Transportation Engineering Award, and the 2011 State Natural Science Award presented by the State Council of China. He has been appointed as a  "Changjiang Scholar" Chair Professor by the Ministry of  Education   of China and served as the   Editor-in-Chief of the flagship journal Transportation Research Part B: Methodological from 2013 to 2018. He currently holds the position of Honorary Editorial Board Member for the journal and serves on the Scientific Committee of Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies. Additionally, Professor Yang is an Advisory   Editor for Transportation Science and a Co-Editor-in-Chief of AI for Transportation.

Dr. Linda Ng Boyle

Linda Ng Boyle is Vice Dean for Research at New York University Tandon School of Engineering. She is also a Professor in Civil and Urban Environmental Engineering   (CUEE), and Technology Management and Innovation   (TMI). Her BS in Industrial Engineering is from the University of Buffalo and  her MS and PhD degrees are from the University of Washington.  She is a Fellow of the Institute of   Industrial and Systems Engineering and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.  She is a member of   the   National Academies Board of Human System Integration and co-author of the textbook, “Designing for People: An Introduction to Human Factors   Engineering”.
